[+] Roberto Drassinower, CEO and President
As President and CEO, Mr. Drassinower is responsible for overseeing BrandProtect’s strategic direction and growth as the leader in online reputation management.
Mr. Drassinower brings to this role extensive leadership experience and the skills to drive this growing company.
Prior to joining BrandProtect, Mr. Drassinower founded DME Consulting Inc., a boutique management-consulting firm that advised on several acquisitions with aggregate revenues north of $200 million.
He also served as the CEO of SoftQuad Software Ltd., a company he acquired through a management buy-out in November 1998. SoftQuad went public in March of 2000 and was sold to Corel Corporation two years later.
Previously, Mr. Drassinower was president of Carolian Systems, a network management software solutions company.
[+] Michael Kiefer, General Manager
A recognized network and security expert and IT and risk visionary, Mr. Kiefer brings more than 25 years of network, telephony, Internet and disaster recovery experience to his role at BrandProtect, where he is responsible for revenue growth and building out a world-class team.
Prior to joining BrandProtect, Mr. Kiefer had been involved in the development of four successful network and security technology startups. One of these ventures, SecurePipe, was acquired in 2006 by ATW Corp after he led the delivery of the company’s outsourced network security solutions to over 1200 community banks.
Previously, he was President of AVAYA North America and directed over 25% of Cisco Systems Global Business. He regularly speaks about IS and related regulatory issues for the banking and technology industries, among others
[+] Frankie Wong, Chief Technology Officer
As Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Wong is the technology visionary for BrandProtect and leads the team efforts in building innovative products and solutions that support the business.
Prior to joining BrandProtect, Mr. Wong founded Avokia creating middleware that delivers continuous availability to mission critical applications and databases. He later assumed the position of CTO to focus on research and development of advanced technologies.
In 1997, Mr. Wong founded Frankie Wong & Associates, a boutique consulting firm specialized in Business Intelligence data mart systems design, implementation and out-sourced operations. His clients included companies in the banking, insurance, communication, manufacturing and the public sectors in North America.
Mr. Wong learned his software skills at IBM where he spent a better part of his career as software developer, product planner, technical marketing support in the IBM Toronto Laboratory, and then solution architect at IBM Canada.
Mr. Wong was granted a US patent for his invention of dynamic object caching technology. He also filed two US patent applications for the invention of transaction replication technologies.
Mr. Wong graduated from Hong Kong Polytechnic University in the faculty of Electronic Engineering, and also received an MBA degree from the Athabasca University Center for Innovative Management
[+] Alan Peck, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Peck is responsible for defining and executing the financial strategy, as well as enhancing the quality and performance of the company's internal financial operations, human resources, legal, treasury, and related information systems. He has shared responsibility for developing and executing the overall business strategy, successful achievement of its financial objectives, and delivery of fair value to its shareholders.
Prior to joining Brandimensions, Mr. Peck held the position of Director of Finance for the Unisys Government Transformation Center. In this role, he was instrumental in designing, building, and managing an integrated service delivery, financial, and quality infrastructure that became the strategic backbone for the Unisys Global Public Sector business.
He has also served as the Senior Financial Executive for technology, manufacturing and distribution organizations throughout his 20-year career, with a solid track record of improving, solidifying and maintaining each company’s financial position, human resources management, treasury operations, and information systems.
Mr. Peck received his CA designation from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto
As Vice President, Mr. Joy brings more than 20 years of marketing experience to his role, where he is responsible for global branding and marketing, product strategy and client service initiatives. An accomplished speaker, Mr. Joy has published numerous articles and often been quoted on the topic of online reputation management.
Prior to this, Mr. Joy led the market strategy and program development of all Deloitte Canada's services and played a major role globally as a member of the firm's marketing, communications and business development council - most notably as a leader of its branding initiative and also providing Latin American marketing coordination.
He also spent eight years with Unilever Canada and Mexico. In Canada, he built Becel into one of Canada's most successful and trusted household brands and then went on to lead Lipton's food innovation effort. While in Mexico, he was an integral part of a successful new joint venture for Unilever's ice cream business, which included franchise operations.
Mr. Joy was a founding member and director of Integrative Proteomics, a Canadian biotech startup.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and an MBA in International Business and Marketing.
[+] Elyse Neumann, Director, Operations
As Director, Operations Ms. Neumann is responsible for leading the account team and ensuring client needs are established and addressed. Ms. Neumann is an expert in all aspects of online fraud and brand protection. Over the past five years she has implemented new brand protection solutions that have enhanced the company’s service offering.
Ms. Neumann has many years of industry experience, and has participated extensively in round table discussions, conferences and providing expert knowledge and recommendations to clients and other fortune 500 companies.
Ms. Neumann graduated with a BA from York University and received a Public Relations diploma from Humber College.
[+] Shanna Gordon, Director, Client Services
As Director, Client Services, Ms. Gordon is responsible for ensuring client satisfaction, including responsiveness to requests and helping clients to fully take advantage of findings. Over the past five years, Ms. Gordon has worked directly with Fortune 500 clients on their anti-phishing and brand protection strategies. As a member of the Anti-Phishing Working Group (APWG) and representative of the International Trademark Association (INTA) on behalf of BrandProtect, Ms. Gordon participates in a variety of industry conferences, committees and white papers. She is a thought leader on phishing industry trends and the development and dissemination of solutions to combat identity theft and fraud on the Internet.
Ms. Gordon graduated from York University with a BA in Psychology and Sociology.
