Incident response means any action taken to prevent the general online public from accessing a particular online service such as a web page or blog; This can include the sending of cease and desist warning email letters to the administrative contact of an offending site, contacting an internet service provider to have service rescinded for a website hosting fraudulent activity, or contacting authorized personnel within social media and auction sites to have content removed.
A flat fee of $1000 will be charged for each incident response action taken by BrandProtect. In carrying out such actions, BrandProtect does not, and cannot, guarantee the successful elimination of every incident. While we make reasonable efforts to ensure the completeness of our take-down efforts, we make no claims, and provide no warranties, of any kind or nature (whether express or implied) regarding the effectiveness of such efforts.
Please Note: Incident responses are initiated by the subscriber, cost $1000 each and the first incident is included with the annual fee.
